​Accessibility at Argyle Lake:


  • Parking – All parking lots are asphalt with accessible parking spaces.

  • Camping – There are 3 accessible campsites (A001, A002, and A003) with concrete pads in the Twisted Oak Campground.  There are 2 accessible campsites (B012, B015) with concrete pads in Big Oaks B/E Campground, and 1 accessible campsite with concrete pad in Equestrian Campground. All campsites have wheelchair accessible picnic tables and grills. Reservations can be made for campsites A001, A002, A003 and B012 using ExploreMoreIL™.

  • Showers and Restrooms – The shower building in the Twisted Oak Campground has accessible toilets and shower facilities.  The shower building is open May 1 – October 31.  All restroom facilities and vault toilets are accessible via concrete walkways.

  • Boat Docks/Marina – There is an accessible boat dock with a concrete ramp located across from the concession building. Parking is available with a 15 yard distance to the boat dock. 

  • Fishing – There is an accessible composite fishing dock in front of the Concession Building with a wooden ramp for access.

  • Shelter/ Picnicking – The Pioneer and Prairieview Shelters have a concrete walkway from the parking area with accessible picnic tables and grill for cooking.

  • Hunting – The park offers disabled hunting opportunities.  Proof of P2A status is required.  For more information, please call the park office at (309) 776-3422.

  • Service animals are welcome in the park, and there are water hydrants available throughout the park if needed.
