Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

​Physical Accessibility at Eagle Creek


  • Parking Lots are asphalt with accessible parking spaces. The distance to the nearest sidewalk is 80'. Sidewalks are concrete.

  • Restrooms - There are accessible vault toilets located in the walk-in tent area near the parking lot, at the Cottonwoods day use area, the boat ramp, and there are flush toilets in the shower house in the campground. 

  • Camping - There are 3 accessible campsites (sites 36, 37, and 58) in the campground. These sites have wheelchair accessible picnic tables and firepits. These sites are reservable through ExploreMoreIL™

  • Picnicking - The Cottonwoods and Gazebo shelters offer accessible picnic tables and concrete sidewalks leading from the parking lot to the shelter. The Gazebo shelter is located near the boat ramp. 

  • Service animals are allowed in the park. There are water hydrants located throughout the park.
