Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

​Accessibility at Middle Fork:


  • Parking - The office and horse campground parking lots are tar and chip. Accessible parking spaces are available at the horse campground. The sidewalk is approximately a 10-15' distance from the parking lot. 

  • Restrooms - Accessible vault toilets are available at the Archery Range, the Horse Barn and River Access at 2250N. 

  • Camping - There is one accessible campsite in the Class A campground and one in the Class C campground. 

  • Equestrian - There is lift ramp available in the horse campground to assist riders. 

  • Service animals are allowed in the park, and there are water hydrants available in the park.
