Parking - All access areas of the park have asphalt park lots except for the hunting lots which are gravel. There are accessible parking spaces at all access areas, park office, east and west boat ramp and Hickory Point shower house. Concrete sidewalks are attached to the parking lots and there is at most a 40' distance to sidewalk from parking spaces. Park office has a wheelchair ramp.
Restrooms - Accessible vault toilets are available throughout the park. Flush toilets are available in the Hickory Point campground shower house.
Camping - Deer Run Campground has accessible sites A18, ADA20, ADA34, B36, C32 and C34 (non-electrical) available. The Hickory Point Campground has sites ADA1, ADA2, Cabin 29 and Cabin 30. Accessible showers are available in the Hickory Point Campground. All sites have wheelchair accessible picnic tables and grills, and can be reserved through exploremoreil.com.
Picnicking - Access Area 1A and 1B have wheelchair accessible grills, and Access Area 2 has accessible grills and tables.
Fishing - Access Area 2 and 3 have ADA fishing piers, but the pathways leading to them are gravel with approximately 100' distances from the parking areas.
Boating - The east and west boat docks are accessible with a 100 yard distance from the parking lot.
Service animals are welcome in the park, and there is water available in the campground and east boat dock.
