Located at the southeastern tip of Southern Illinois, along the beautiful Ohio River you will find Cave-in-Rock State Park Lodge and Restaurant. The lodge and restaurant take its name from a large natural cave used as a hiding place by pirates who preyed upon river travelers after the Revolutionary War until the 1830's.
Perched 80 feet above the Ohio River the Lodge features four duplex cabins with eight suites, each accommodating up to four people. The suites have a kitchenette (no cooking facilities), dining area, wet bar, bedroom, bath, and private patio deck overlooking the river.
The family-style restaurant serves lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the season you can dine by the warmth of the fireplace or enjoy the outdoors on the patio. The view can't be beat!
Outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, boating, bicycling, playgrounds, picnicking, and bird watching.
The Lodge is the perfect site for family vacations, couple get aways or family reunions.
