Project Title: Hill Prairie/Bluff Habitat Restoration

Community and/or Species Focus: Hill prairie

Goals/Objectives:
  1. Use active management and restoration efforts to maintain and​ expand the current hill prairie habitat in 40-50 sites throughout 20 counties
  2. Increase the area sizes by 20-25%
  3. Increase habitat quality for about 20 SGCN
Achievements:
  1. ​Developed a management plan and managed 58 sites statewide
  2. Hosted management training workshops to educate and train the public/landowners
  3. Completed all necessary field work, data collection, and analysis
