Project Title: Illinois Conservation Opportunity Areas: Coordination and Planning in Support of the Illinois Wildlife Action Plan

Goals/Objectives:
  1. Provide coordination and communication among conservation partners
  2. Identify a model process for ongoing coordination within Conservation Opportunity Areas (COAs)
  3. Explore and research the development for performance measures
Achievements:
  1. ​Local conservation partners were engaged on coordinating conservation goals outlined under IWAP
  2. The Rapid Conservation Action Planning process will provide guidance and foundation for COA coordination
  3. The research resulted in 10 potential areas in need of support within COAs, and provided 5 recommendations to IDNR and TNC to increase initiative success
