Project Title: Illinois Conservation Opportunity Areas: Coordination and Planning in Support of the Illinois Wildlife Action Plan

Goals/Objectives:
- Provide coordination and communication among conservation partners
- Identify a model process for ongoing coordination within Conservation Opportunity Areas (COAs)
- Explore and research the development for performance measures
Achievements:
- Local conservation partners were engaged on coordinating conservation goals outlined under IWAP
- The Rapid Conservation Action Planning process will provide guidance and foundation for COA coordination
- The research resulted in 10 potential areas in need of support within COAs, and provided 5 recommendations to IDNR and TNC to increase initiative success
