Project Title: Lower Apple River INAI Mussel Site Protection & Restoration Project

Streams, Prairie/Savanna, Forest, various species & SGCN

Goals/Objectives:
  1. Acquire 12 acres of the Apple River
  2. Register the land as a Land & Water Reserve
  3. Habitat restoration
Achievements:
  1. ​The land was acquired and made a Reserve
  2. Restoration was achieved through invasive species control and planting native seeds
