Project Title: Open Grasslands Project - Shawnee National Forest

Community and/or Species Focus: Grasslands, Grassland birds

Goals/Objectives:

  1. Convert existing open lands that are dominated by tall fescue back to native warm season grasses

Achievements:

  1. ​Over 500 acres were restored: 200 acres of food plots and 300 acres of native warm season grasses
