Project Title: Historical Occurrence & Present Status of Insect Species in Greatest Conservation Need

Community and/or Species Focus:

 Insects

Goals/Objectives:
  1. Create an Internet-accessible database of insect SGCN that are present in the Illinois Natural History Survey (INHS) collection
  2. Sample species' historical localities to determine if they are still present
Achievements:
  1. ​Only 118 out of 347 insect SGCN were found in the INHS collection
  2. 49 insect SGCN were found at 68 out of 247 sampling locations
  3. The database was created 

Post-Project Survey (if applicable): The database is expanded as new data on insect SGCN are discovered
