2022 Notice of Business Process Changes
Effective October 24, 2022, the Department will no longer be offering paper applications. The Department has moved to an ePermit System for the completion and submission of Illinois coal mining applications. For a short time, the Department will be accepting paper copies of applications that are currently in progress.
